The Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (PRFAA) serves as the Office of Governor Luis G. Fortuño in Washington, DC. Our mission is to advance the interests, priorities and goals of the Government and its people, by representing and advocating for the needs of our communities, bringing issues of economic development, access to health care and education, and community development to the attention of key policymakers and legislators in Washington D.C.
We offer internship opportunities for currently enrolled university students in our Administration, Budget and Finance, Communications, Federal Proposals, Government Affairs and Legal Divisions. Application timelines for all three internship terms are listed below, term dates are flexible.
Spring:
Application timeline: November 1st – December 1st
Internship Term: Mid January – Mid May
Summer:
Application timeline: March 15th – April 15th
Internship Term: Late May – Mid August
Fall:
Application timeline: July 1st – August 1st
Internship Term: Late August – Mid December
